The Proceedings Visa in numbers
V-type visa for handling legal matters without falling irregular. Apply from Colombia or your country.
Not a work or residency visa: it authorizes no work and accrues no residency. Its value is elsewhere: staying identified, with a cédula, while your months-long proceeding moves forward.
Proceedings Visa requirements
The file Cancillería expects to see — we build and verify it with you, document by document.
- Request letter detailing the proceeding and why it requires your presence in Colombia.
- Proceeding support: court orders, official directives or letters from the authorities and institutions involved.
- Financial means: statements or other evidence you can support yourself during your stay.
- International health insurance for the whole stay: emergencies, hospitalization and repatriation.

Word of mouth is our main source of clients. Read the exact, unedited reviews.
How we work: from the call to the cédula, zero chaos
A process designed so you never chase a paper or wonder what's next. Technology + senior lawyer, start to finish.
1Strategy consultation ($80)
Camila diagnoses your case on a call. The same day you get the minutes and your proposal with a confirmed plan, credited on hire.
2Sign & pay online
Digital signature on your proposal, automatic legal invoice and card payment (even in installments, per your plan).
3Instant Sofi access
Payment activates your case and you enter the portal with your code: questionnaires, templates and your checklist from your phone.
4AI does the legwork: extracts, drafts and reviews
No endless forms: AI does the heavy lifting — extracting your data, generating your templates and killing typos — and your lawyer applies final judgment before filing.
5Filing + real follow-up
We file in SITAC, track daily, answer requirements and alert you to every deadline. All in one file, not scattered chats.
6With you until the cédula
The process doesn't end with an approved visa: we guide you through registration, the appointment and getting your cédula. The same lawyer who welcomed you walks with you to the end.
Your peace of mind, by system: Sofi 24/7 · AI validating before filing · templates & examples · deadline reminders · direct WhatsApp with your lawyer · online invoicing & payments · the same senior from start to finish.
One number per plan. Confirmed on your call.
Fixed pricing for the Proceedings Visa. Government fees always separate — except in Turnkey, where it's all included.

Straight answers, before you ask
Which proceedings qualify?
Court (lawsuits, hearings), administrative (procedures before entities) and commercial (business requiring your presence): anything needing documentary support from the authority or institution involved.
What is the cédula good for?
Operating in Colombia while your proceeding runs: bank accounts, signatures, contracts and procedures requiring local ID.
Can I work on this visa?
No: it bars working for or billing Colombian companies (passive investment income is allowed).
How long and from where do I apply?
Two to four weeks once filed — among the fastest. From Colombia or your country of residence or nationality.
What if my proceeding drags on?
The visa runs 6 months to 1 year at officer discretion; your stay strategy (extensions or category change) is planned on the consultation.
Do I need a lawyer if it's all online?
No platform requires counsel. But proving the need for your presence before a discretionary officer demands an impeccable letter and support. For your legal case, it's worth shielding them.
