We file in SITAC, track daily, answer requirements and alert you to every deadline. All in one file, not scattered chats.

Cédula de extranjería handover

6With you until the cédula

The process doesn't end with an approved visa: we guide you through registration, the appointment and getting your cédula. The same lawyer who welcomed you walks with you to the end.

Your peace of mind, by system: Sofi 24/7 · AI validating before filing · templates & examples · deadline reminders · direct WhatsApp with your lawyer · online invoicing & payments · the same senior from start to finish.

Your life in Colombia is too important for trial and error

If your future, your family or your investments depend on a Colombian visa, a single mistake can cost you months of delays, money or an outright rejection. You don't need a lawyer to apply for your visa, but we believe it's a smart investment.

"My advice: don't attempt this process without professional assistance. Hire this efficient team."

"Congratulations on doing such a great job. Everything was smooth, clear and fast. Lawyer Camila is deeply committed to her work and kept us informed at all times during Juan's visa application, which we obtained with no issues. We did follow her instructions to the letter, though. I recommend Colombian Passport 100% for handling all immigration processes."

"As a freelancer from Germany with the intention to spend an extended period of time in Colombia, I turned to Camila to apply for the digital nomad visa. She guided me step by step through the process, providing all the relevant information and lots of helpful advice for my individual situation. The visa was issued only a week after the application without any problems. I recommend Camila to anyone who wants to apply for a digital nomad (or any other) visa in Colombia and is looking for dedicated, reliable support at a very reasonable price."

"I found Camila though a friend of mine who send their website. She helped me to apply for my digital nomad visa. At start I was doubting if I even needed a lawyer for this and was thinking to chat gpt this. I applied with chat gpt as my lawyer and got rejected. Then I decided to go with Camila, and honestly, could not done it without her since they ask such a complicated things lol. Not only was she very knowledgeable, she was also very responsive and you could feel she cares about your case. I would not reccomend anyone else than her if you want your visa!"

"I had a fantastic experience working with Camila. Two foreign friends in Manizales who didn't know each other recommended her, so I took it as a good sign. I wish I had worked with her from the start. I tried filing my digital nomad visa on my own to save money, but when I submitted the application, they sent it back inadmitted, so I turned to Camila for help. She immediately knew how to improve my application and increase my approval chances. She also told me I had completed many unnecessary procedures and paid for unnecessary notary services, apostilles and translations for certain documents. She helped me fix the application and re-file it, and it was approved in a week. Camila made the process much easier and less stressful — I highly recommend her!"

"Getting to know Camila for my Colombian Pensionado Visa has been a truly rewarding experience. Being able to speak with an expert lawyer on Colombian migration topics makes everything much easier. Camila explains in detail every document you must gather so her office can handle the paperwork, and she sends you a questionnaire with every question about the things Colombia's Cancillería wants to know about you. Once you understand it all, in 2 weeks you can have everything ready, file the paperwork and get your visa one week later. The value is that Camila explains it to you, very easy, and you save a lot of time. It's not the same dealing with people who invest whatever time it takes to explain all your doubts as talking to an Artificial Intelligence. Thank you so much for everything — it's a pleasure doing paperwork with you."

"An excellent agency I widely recommend for getting visas for Colombia: honest, transparent, direct and results-driven, no tricks. I live alone between Italy and Switzerland with my 6-year-old daughter, originally from Madagascar. Between dual nationality, irregular rental income, a daughter recognized only at age two, my daughter's surname change and a mother in Madagascar who is practically impossible to reach... they helped me step by step with an objective analysis of each problem and, above all, solving it. In the end, we made it and now we both hold 'V-RENTISTA' visas. I don't just recommend them to anyone — I'll be contacting them myself when I need to renew my visa."

"Excellent service from Camila, who guided me through the entire resident visa application. A few notes on my experience: since the process isn't simple and the requirements are clearly different from the migrant visa, I decided to seek professional advice. Camila handled the process, application registration, etc., asking me for each document and requirement needed to apply. I also highlight how she helped me identify several strengths to emphasize in the letter (a document Camila built, validating it with me first) and advised me on a few factors to keep in mind. That's why I highlight the knowledge and experience they have in these processes. I advise starting the process early: while mine took less than expected, timelines depend on the Cancillería. On that note I also highlight how quickly Camila and her team acted to file the application promptly. Finally, last week my visa was approved (the service also included visa registration and preparing the documents needed to apply for the new cédula, including booking the appointment). Today I completed the cédula process and only its delivery remains. I highly recommend Camila and her team's service."

"What can I say about this company and their team of lawyers? In short they are excellent, educated, sincere, up to date with law as it changes and a thorough team of professional and honest lawyers. My experience with Camila and her team has been nothing short of exemplary. We had a video conference in which we reviewed my present status, requirements and had a preliminary review of the process and all possible outcomes. I was interested in myself and a spousal visa and they provided me with written documents for both processes. After providing documents, having them notarized or apostilled, the process proceeded seamlessly with periodic updates. During my process we ran into issues I wasn't aware of. They were very understanding, walked me through what was required, reviewed all documentation and provided me with the best option to move forward. In short my application was approved. They scheduled my biometric interview, provided me with addresses, times, documents to take with me, completed some necessary documents (in Spanish) and guided me through the entire interview procedure. The fees were reasonable (less than was quoted to me by other firms), the apostille process was great and was completed on time and very cost effectively. They provide me with companies that came to my apartment for fingerprinting and also doctors appointments for medical physicals. Important to me was a company that communicated in English (they were bilingual). They coordinated all document translations and verified they were correct. They were responsive and attentive to my needs and never over promised me anything. This is a full service organization and I highly recommend them to ALL people wanting to obtain an M-Visa for Colombia."

Government costs (paid to the State, not to us)

Study $56 USD · Issuance V $183 / M $279 / R $408 USD · Cédula $294,000 COP. Added to Essential and Protected. Already included in Turnkey.

Straight answers, before you ask

What if Cancillería asks for more documents?

A requirement is not a denial. Your lawyer answers promptly with legal tactics. The Protected plan covers up to two requirements; the Turnkey plan covers them all.

What if my application is inadmitted?

Fixable errors get re-filed: Essential doesn't include re-application ($80 per re-filing), Protected includes 1 with no legal fees, and Turnkey includes all needed ones with even the official study fee covered. Only Essential and Protected pay each new $56 official study. A final rejection closes the case, with a 6-month wait for a new process.

Are government fees included?

In Essential and Protected they're paid separately to the State (study $56, issuance V $183 / M $279 / R $408, cédula $294,000 COP). In Turnkey they're included.

How long does the process really take?

Doing it alone, expect 14 to 17 weeks: learning curve, apostilles, the SITAC platform and high risk of inadmissions (pay and restart) or rejections (6-month ban). With our firm, we recommend starting 7 weeks before your trip or permit expiry — we audit every document, manage the platforms and speed up the consular stage.

Can I apply while in Colombia on a tourist permit?

Yes, with a current permit. What's critical is that your foreign documents arrive apostilled: criminal records and certifications (pension, marriage, income per the visa). Without apostille, the application gets rejected.

How current must my documents be?

Criminal records must be under 90 days from issuance. US citizens note: Cancillería requires the federal FBI Identity History Summary — state or local certificates are NOT accepted. Every non-Spanish document needs official Spanish translation.
