The Mercosur Visa in numbers
M-type visa under the regional agreement. The system's simplest process — but single-use.
Use it well: it's single-use. After 2 years it isn't renewed — the plan is bridging into the time-based Resident visa. We calendar that from day one.
Mercosur Visa requirements
The system's shortest file — we build and verify it with you in days.
- Member-country nationality: current passport from Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Ecuador or Peru.
- Request letter: what you'll do in Colombia and how you'll support yourself.
- Criminal records from where you lived 3 years, apostilled and translated into Spanish.
Meet your lawyer: Camila Ocampo
Founder & Managing Partner
Universidad de los Andes lawyer (2007). 15+ years of practice, advanced Immigration Law studies (Uniandes, 2025). She founded Colombian Passport in 2024 with one rule: your case is never just another file — you deal directly with her, start to finish.
100% senior practice. No juniors on cases.
We only take cases with a clear legal path — and we bet everything on your visa. The same lawyer start to finish.
Backing you can verify
Word of mouth is our main source of clients across the region. Read the exact, unedited reviews.
How we work: from the call to the cédula, zero chaos
A process designed so you never chase a paper or wonder what's next. Technology + senior lawyer, start to finish.
1Strategy consultation ($80)
Camila diagnoses your case on a call. The same day you get the minutes and your proposal with a confirmed plan, credited on hire.
2Sign & pay online
Digital signature on your proposal, automatic legal invoice and card payment (even in installments, per your plan).
3Instant Sofi access
Payment activates your case and you enter the portal with your code: questionnaires, templates and your checklist from your phone.
4AI does the legwork: extracts, drafts and reviews
No endless forms: AI does the heavy lifting — extracting your data, generating your templates and killing typos — and your lawyer applies final judgment before filing.
5Filing + real follow-up
We file in SITAC, track daily, answer requirements and alert you to every deadline. All in one file, not scattered chats.
6With you until the cédula
The process doesn't end with an approved visa: we guide you through registration, the appointment and getting your cédula. The same lawyer who welcomed you walks with you to the end.
Your peace of mind, by system: Sofi 24/7 · AI validating before filing · templates & examples · deadline reminders · direct WhatsApp with your lawyer · online invoicing & payments · the same senior from start to finish.
One number per plan. Confirmed on your call.

Straight answers, before you ask
Does my country qualify?
Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru. Andean Community or another nationality? Ask on the consultation — we cover every category.
Can I work and bring family?
Yes to both: it authorizes any legal activity and covers dependents (children under 25 and dependents).
And after the 2 years?
The Mercosur visa isn't renewed — it bridges into the time-based Resident visa (those 2 years already count). We plan it from day one so you never spend a day irregular.
How long and from where do I apply?
Usually 2 to 5 weeks once filed. From Colombia or your country of residence or nationality.
What do I actually need?
Current passport, activities-and-support letter, and records from where you lived 3 years (apostilled and translated). The system's shortest file.
Do I need a lawyer if it's so simple?
No platform requires counsel. But "simple" isn't "automatic": multi-country records and the Resident bridge are where the 2 years get lost. For your regional plan, it's worth shielding.
Start with clarity: the $80 consultation

- 360° analysis: your nationality, records and the right path.
- Resident route: bridge calendared from day one.
- Your plan, confirmed: Essential $350, Protected $540 or Turnkey — decided with Camila.
