What if both parents are foreigners?
You still qualify, as long as you held a domicile-granting visa at birth: both parents sign the letter and the record must carry the nationality annotation.
What if the other parent is absent?
A family-authority certification is needed: no protection or rights-restitution measures, and proof you've met your obligations. We handle it.
Does my adult child count the same?
Yes: they sign the letter themselves (signature + fingerprint) requesting your M visa and attach their Colombian ID.
Can I work and bring family?
Yes to both: it authorizes any legal activity and covers dependents (children under 25 and dependents).
How long and from where do I apply?
Usually 2 to 5 weeks once filed. From Colombia or your country of residence or nationality.
Do I need a lawyer if it's all online?
