Retirement Visa(translated from Spanish)

"Getting to know Camila for my Colombian Pensionado Visa has been a truly rewarding experience. Being able to speak with an expert lawyer on Colombian migration topics makes everything much easier. Camila explains in detail every document you must gather so her office can handle the paperwork, and she sends you a questionnaire with every question about the things Colombia's Cancillería wants to know about you. Once you understand it all, in 2 weeks you can have everything ready, file the paperwork and get your visa one week later. The value is that Camila explains it to you, very easy, and you save a lot of time. It's not the same dealing with people who invest whatever time it takes to explain all your doubts as talking to an Artificial Intelligence. Thank you so much for everything — it's a pleasure doing paperwork with you."

Camila and the whole team were exceptional throughout the process — from gathering all the application paperwork to staying on top of the status and follow-up required by Migración. I undoubtedly recommend Colombian Passport for your visa paperwork!"

Straight answers, before you ask

How large must my pension be?

At least 3 Colombian monthly minimum wages — $5,240,646 COP in 2026 (about $1,610 USD). It must be a pension (public or private), not rents or investments: those go through Rentista.

Can I work on this visa?

No. Its one big restriction: no work activity in Colombia is authorized. If you need to work, the consultation will assess whether another category suits you better.

Does it lead to permanent residency?

Yes. It's an M visa: 5 years as a holder let you apply for the Resident visa, and 5 more as a resident, citizenship.

How long and from where do I apply?

Usually 2 to 5 weeks once filed. From Colombia or your country of residence or nationality, 100% online.

Can I include my family?

Yes, as dependents (including children under 25). Each pays their own fees plus a reduced legal fee per your plan.

Do I need a lawyer if it's all online?

No platform requires counsel. But pension certification, multi-country records and the health policy have details that inadmit complete files. For your retirement, it's worth shielding them.

Start with clarity: the $80 consultation

Camila diagnoses your retirement case, hands you the exact document list, timelines and consular strategy — and confirms your plan in writing, fully credited on hire.

  • 360° analysis: your pension, records and the right path.
  • Strategic timing: when to travel and the best consulate.
  • Your plan, confirmed: Essential $350, Protected $540 or Turnkey — decided with Camila.
