The Services Visa in numbers
V-type visa for profiles scarce locally, hired per project. Apply from Colombia or your country.
Visa tied to the project: it authorizes only that company, role and duration. Changing jobs requires a new visa, and everything is reported in SIRE and RUTEC. For open-ended employment, see the Work Visa.

Meet your lawyer: Camila Ocampo
Founder & Managing Partner
Universidad de los Andes lawyer (2007). 15+ years of practice, advanced Immigration Law studies (Uniandes, 2025). She founded Colombian Passport in 2024 with one rule: your case is never just another file — you deal directly with her, start to finish.
100% senior practice. No juniors on cases.
We only take cases with a clear legal path — and we bet everything on your visa. The same lawyer start to finish.
Backing you can verify
Word of mouth is our main source of clients — including project professionals. Read the exact, unedited reviews.
How we work: from the call to the cédula, zero chaos
A process designed so you never chase a paper or wonder what's next. Technology + senior lawyer, start to finish.
1Strategy consultation ($80)
Camila diagnoses your case on a call. The same day you get the minutes and your proposal with a confirmed plan, credited on hire.
2Sign & pay online
Digital signature on your proposal, automatic legal invoice and card payment (even in installments, per your plan).
3Instant Sofi access
Payment activates your case and you enter the portal with your code: questionnaires, templates and your checklist from your phone.
4AI does the legwork: extracts, drafts and reviews
No endless forms: AI does the heavy lifting — extracting your data, generating your templates and killing typos — and your lawyer applies final judgment before filing.
5Filing + real follow-up
We file in SITAC, track daily, answer requirements and alert you to every deadline. All in one file, not scattered chats.
6With you until the cédula
The process doesn't end with an approved visa: we guide you through registration, the appointment and getting your cédula. The same lawyer who welcomed you walks with you to the end.
Your peace of mind, by system: Sofi 24/7 · AI validating before filing · templates & examples · deadline reminders · direct WhatsApp with your lawyer · online invoicing & payments · the same senior from start to finish.
One number per plan. Confirmed on your call.
Fixed pricing for the Services / Project Visa. Government fees always separate — except in Turnkey, where it's all included.

Straight answers, before you ask
How is it different from the Work Visa?
The tie and duration: Services is for fixed-term contracts (6m–2y, V visa, no residency accrual); Work is for indefinite employment (1–3y, M visa, accrues). The consultation defines which one your contract needs.
What must the company prove?
Solvency (6 months of statements averaging ≥ 100 minimum wages), an official-format contract and a letter justifying why you and not a Colombian. Mining sector: ANM-verified title.
Can I extend or switch projects?
Extending with the same client is viable; switching companies or roles requires a new visa, and everything is reported in SIRE and RUTEC. We plan it from day one.
How long and from where do I apply?
Two to five weeks once filed. From Colombia or your country of residence or nationality.
Can I bring my family?
Yes: spouse and children under 25 as dependents, each with their fees and a reduced legal fee.
Do I need a lawyer if it's all online?
No platform requires counsel. But the official format, the client letter and SIRE/RUTEC reporting are exactly where projects stall. For your start date, it's worth shielding.

- Your plan, confirmed: Essential $450, Protected $650 or Turnkey — decided with Camila.
